Where are all the Honeybees Going?

by James Wilkie
(Whitman , MA 02382)

I was told was told that having honeybees would not possible or successful. The reason being, a fungus or virus would most certainly kill them.

Hi James

While it's certainly true that bees and beekeepers have been experiencing some difficulties in the past year or two, from Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD. I certainly wouldn't agree that it's no longer possible to keep bees.

There are, thankfully, many thousands of beekeepers around the world who either have not had an incidence of Colony Collapse Disorder, or are dealing with it and doing the bees they can.

We desperately need our honeybees to pollinate our farm and garden food crops. I would urge you not to be influenced by someone who clearly does not know what they are talking about, or is just so pessimistic that they see doom and gloom in everything.

Become a beekeeper, get some bees, pollinate some flowers!
