We are seniors at High Tech High Media Arts and we chose to do our senior project about what is happening to bees, and colony collapse disorder. When we started researching, we became very interested in the life of the honey bee.

We got in contact with Mr. Kipps-Bolton of Bees-on-the-Net, he shared his knowledge of bees with us.

Most of our research came from Mr. Kipps-Bolton, from the internet, and from our Environmental Science teacher. We have found through this project that many don’t know or fully understand the importance of these extraordinary creatures.
Our main goal for our final product was to make a documentary that would educate others and bring awareness. We had no idea the huge role honey bees have in the world and what they do for us.
We both learned a lot about the life of a honey bee, what colony collapse disorder is, how it’s effecting bees, and what we can do to help. We both are very proud of our final video and really enjoyed working with Mr. Kipps-Bolton.
