Swarm on Camp Pendleton

I had just finished up lunch this afternoon and went to step out of my office and was greeted by a good size swarm of bees flying in between our two trailers. After about an hour, they all landed and grouped up on the trim and we now have about a basketball sized mass of bees. :-) Unfortunately there is not much we can do about it. The base is considered a sanctuary for wildlife. And to try go get an outside beekeeper on base is pretty darn impossible. Makes for an entertaining afternoon. :-) Josh

What you need is a Marine who is also a beekeeper!

I know a beekeeper who was a marine until recently. I'll email him and see whether he has any ideas.

Alternatively you could collect it, since you're a fearless Marine, and give it to a local beekeeper outside of Pendleton.
