Here is a list of State Apiarists. We try to maintain it but be aware that there might be changes which are not yet included here.

- Generally responsibilites which this post will cover are many and various. Here are some of their duties, but each state will have its own criteria.
- Regulatory work such as apiary registration and inspection, coordination of other inspectors, diagnostic testing for disease and mite treatment resistance, etc.
- Beekeeper outreach and a contact point for beekeepers across the state involved in courses, meetings, board participation, composing an Apiary Inspector Manual, fact sheets, newsletter articles and other publications
- Public (non-beekeeper) outreach on bees, beekeeping, and pollination / agricultural liaison.
