Scroll down for a list of Oregon beekeepers who remove swarms and established bee colonies. Not all people will offer the same types of services, be prepared to pay for their work, these are specialized procedures requiring a great deal of skill and experience.

Please use caution when engaging anyone from this list
Bees-on-the-Net is unable to take responsibility for their services.

Try to give the beekeeper as much information as you can about the location of the swarm, height above the ground, length of time they have been there and whether there are any special circumstances you think might be relevant.

People are often concerned that bee swarms they see may be Africanized bees, the so called killer bees. When bees swarm it's very difficult to tell their origin, even Africanized bees are usually docile when they are swarming, be cautious and call an expert.

Many people believe that local honey is beneficial for allergies. While I'm not sure there is any clinical proof of this, I can see there might some sort of homeopathic effect.

Finding true local honey, which incidentally is delicious, can sometimes be difficult but contacting people on this list might be a good place to start if you're looking for pure Oregon honey. Although Oregon bees are basically the same as bees in any other states, the honey they make will be determined by the local plants. The flavor of the honey is usually a combination of nectar from many different plants.

Please tell the beekeeper when you call, that you found them on the Bees-on-the-Net Swarm List.

To be added to the swarm removal page for your state please go here and complete the form.

Do you have bundle of bees hanging of the fence, or tree branch or anywhere else? Would you like them gone? Then text me your address or give me a call and I'll come to give them new home. I work from Wilsonville, Clackamas County, can drive about 20 miles out either way. Bees are dying and we need to help them to pollinate to survive ourselves. Unless we want to eat wind pollinated corn till The End of all days. (As for me The End couldn't come fast enough if all I had to eat was corn.) FAQ: How do I know if I have killer bees? If you have time to ask, you don't, it's when you running for your life that's how you know.

I collect swarms of honeybees in or near Eugene and Springfield and give them new homes in bee-friendly beehives.
• The bees will have new homes in good locations. I manage my small apiaries in Eugene with a commitment to natural, sustainable, bee-friendly beekeeping.
• I will collect swarms within 10 feet of the ground and my car will be ready at moment's notice, loaded with a ladder and equipment.
To help beekeepers- I make and sell Warré Hives, meant for hands-off, minimalist and sustainable beekeeping practices. These are used extensively by backyard beekeepers in the United States and Europe.
My website contains many resources for natural beekeeping and information about my endeavors. www.beeologique.com
I thank you and very much appreciate your help. –Bill Wood
