My Mom

Tribute to my Mom
I caught a few swarms at my Mom's house when I was a kid (like 100 years ago)...and ended up in the business for a few years.
The hives were in the back yard...and when I was robbing them someone always wanted to watch...one day it was my Mom.
The bees were a little more cantankerous that day and ended up landing all over her. I yelled at her to freeze and not move...and they would move on eventually. She did!! Like stone ;-)
I went over to her to try and relax her until they left. I was amazed as I watched bees crawl into her nose and ears and back out again...she just stood there frozen. Eventually they left...and to this day I respect her strength more than anyone else on the planet...whatta woman!!! AND guess what? Not a single sting!
I miss you Mom.
Thanks for that Wayne. I miss my Mum too.
