Kindle Beekeeping eBooks have joined the many technical innovations to help you start beekeeping. Of course I would recommend my own - Got Bees? - Start Beekeeping by Next Weekend, but there are many others.

I always impress on people that they should not just read one book about how to start beekeeping. As with all other aspects of beekeeping you'll find there are many differing opinions abut the 'correct' way to do things.

If you've nurtured a desire to keep bees, don't hesitate, DO IT NOW. You'll quickly realize the obstacles you imagined which were preventing you from starting to keep bees, are never insurmountable.

Frankly you can never have too much information about bees, in fact the more information you accrue over the years, the more you'll understand that there's always even more to learn. I'm sure that no matter how long you keep bees and no matter how many books about bees that you read, both regular and eBooks, you'll still sometimes be stumped.

Even after more than twenty years keeping bees, I still come across bees which haven't read the same books and don't do what I really think they should do.

The Kindle does offer a great way to read books on any subject. They're now so small, light and inexpensive you can take them with you wherever you go. Having a book with you all time opens up many opportunities to read a few pages, and the Kindle will keep you place so you don't have to skim through to see where you left off last time, or worry about dropping paper bookmarks. Over lunch, at coffee breaks, in doctors' and dentists' waiting-rooms, I like to feed my beekeeping addiction.
