Donations are Welcome.

We appreciate your donations. It takes many hours of experience, research, coding and of course bee stings to create and maintain this website.

We try to give information and advice to people with bee 'problems' and encourage budding beekeepers. Help us spread the word.

Bee fanning pheremones to attract their sisters. The cost of providing the computer equipment, cell phone minutes and the web hosting service is considerable.

If there is any disruption in the hive a few workers will stand at the entrance, head down, their Koschevnikov pheromone gland open, fanning the pheromone outwards to signal to any hive members in the vicinity where the entrance is. If you find the information on this site useful please sign up for The Buzz and, like the bee in the picture, tell all your friends about it. Please take the time to check out some of our sponsor's links. We try to keep the number of advertisements to a reasonable level.

The creation of this website is as much a labour of love as beekeeping. Do you have a passion you'd like to pass on to others, find out how to do it with SBI!

We get calls generated by our other website SanDiegoBees.com asking for help and advice. Unfortunately I cannot usually collect swarms or remove bees free of charge.

However I am more than happy to give whatever help and advice I can, either by phone or email . The more people I can inform about honey bees, the better it is for them, the general public and the bees themselves!

We are very grateful for any amount you are able to give.

Leave Donations Page and return Home.

Thank you!
