Day in the Life of the Bee Guy
This bee video was made by Dave Pleiss during the summer of 2008. He accompanied me to a number of live bee removals and shot a great deal of tape which he edited to the short piece shown.
When I agreed to do this, I didn't bargain on him collecting the clips of me being stung and compiling a collage at the end. The clip of me slapping myself repeatedly on the side of the head in a distracted way does nothing to reinforce my credibility. Oh well!
It is worth noting that I wasn't the one wearing a bee-suit in sweltering weather while trying to focus and frame shots through the mesh face mask with sweat dripping into his eyes. ;-b
