Arizona Swarm Removal
Scroll down for a list of Arizona beekeepers who remove swarms and established bee colonies. Not all people will offer the same types of services, be prepared to pay for their work, these are specialized procedures requiring a great deal of skill and experience.
Bees-on-the-Net is unable to take responsibility for their services.
To find a beekeeping group or club in Arizona, go to the Bee Clubs and Associations Page and select Arizona from the map, or see the Arizona Bee Club and Association Page.
Try to give the beekeeper as much information as you can about the location of the swarm, height above the ground, length of time they have been there and whether there are any special circumstances you think might be relevant.
People are often concerned that bee swarms they see may be Africanized bees, the so called killer bees. When bees swarm it's very difficult to tell their origin, even Africanized bees are usually docile when they are swarming, be cautious and call an expert.
Many people believe that local honey is beneficial for allergies. While I'm not sure there is any clinical proof of this, I can see there might some sort of homeopathic effect.
Finding true local honey, which incidentally is delicious, can sometimes be difficult but contacting people on this list might be a good place to start if you're looking for pure Arizona honey. Although Arizona bees are basically the same as bees in any other states, the honey they make will be determined by the local plants. The flavor of the honey is usually a combination of nectar from many different plants.
Please tell the beekeeper when you call, that you found them on the Bees-on-the-Net Swarm List.

I offer swarm and hive removal valley wide -- I am in the West Valley (in between Surprise, AZ and Wickenburg) but I am willing to travel anywhere in Maricopa County. Bees are valuable for their honey and the plants and trees they polinate -- please don't kill them! I remove the swarm and will also give you a jar of the honey when I am able to harvest it! Please call me with the size of the swarm (if you are able to see it) and how high (like if it is in a tree). Thank you very much!

Howdy, I'm the Honeybee Herdsman and I work hard to get the word out to folks about the many problems our tiny winged partners are facing in todays world. Bees are disappearing, and that includes the domestic honeybee as well as the many varieties of native bees that we all rely on to pollinate our food and forage crops. Please call a beekeeper to remove your problem bees alive so they can continue to benefit us all rather than being exterminated which will leave a poisonous residue behind that is dangerous to your family, your pets and wildlife.
50 years experience as a bee keeper provides my background and gives me with the patience to deal with bee problems that most people want to avoid entirely. You can feel secure knowing that I will safely and securely remove your problem bees and all traces of the colony including the wax comb and honey stores the colony has built up. I then finish by sealing all entrances to the former colony so you will not have any re infestation. I do my job right without use of chemicals while saving the bees so they will continue benefiting all mankind.
